Today is 25.2. So what happened on the road? Simple answer: “A lot”.
Based on my previous plan I should be somewhere in Burma right now.
Last post was written on the Langkawi island (the north west of Malaysia). There I had a feeling of need exact three things. First I really want to cool down and second I want to learn how to surf. And the last one, probably the most important one: I’ve met really nice people. With them I wanted to spent a longer time. Based on theirs contacts we’ve got a volunteering job in Cameron Highlands. The only place in Malaysia with the tea plantation in Malaysia. Moreover I found flight from Kuala Lumpur to Bali for 25 Euros in one month. Really good consequences.
Cameron Highlands, Tanah Rata, De Native Guest house. Amazing places located more than thousand meters above the sea level. Coolest temperatures in Malaysia. During the day around 25 and during the nights around 15°C. I used my jacket, which I wanted to throw away… 🙂
Amazing group of volunteers and perfect easigoing Indian owner Krish. Everyday some work, some tracking and some visits. During the evening, we were sitting near the fire, listening the music, sometimes with the karaoke, sometimes with the whiskey and everyday with a lot of fun. Guests were satisfied and we were happy.
If I wanted to relax there I went to the tea plantations. You can imagine hills full of small tea trees, with the same small queues. Just walking through let you forget of your problems and problems of the world.
In this specific paradise I spent three weeks. Last night we sang together “I did it my way” and “Hey Jude”. Drunk a lot of whiskey. And right now I’m sitting in the bus direction new adventures.
